Privacy Policy — your data stays on your devices

What the app stores (on your device only)

DillCourt Score saves your match scores, player names you type in, match history, app settings, how many free matches you have played, and whether you have bought the unlock, in the app's private storage on your phone and watch. This information is used solely to run the app: to keep score, restore an in-progress match, show your recent results, and remember your purchase. It is never transmitted to us or to anyone else.

Health and fitness data (watch apps)

The Apple Watch and Wear OS (Galaxy Watch) companion apps can track a match as a workout. Only if you grant permission, they access the following data:

• Heart rate and calories burned, read live from the watch's sensors during a match and shown on the watch screen.
• Workout session (start time, end time, activity type, duration, heart rate, and calories), written to Apple Health on iPhone and Apple Watch, or to Health Connect (Samsung Health) on Wear OS, so the match appears in your fitness history.
• Body sensors / physical activity permissions on Wear OS, which the operating system requires for the above.

This data is processed on your watch only. It is used for one purpose: to display live workout stats during a match and to save that match as a workout in the health app on your own device. It is not sent to us, not stored on any server, not shared with any third party, and not used for advertising or analytics. We have no access to it. If you decline the permissions, the scoring app works exactly the same and no health data is read. You can revoke the permissions at any time in the Health app (iOS) or in your watch's Settings › Apps › Permissions / Health Connect (Wear OS); doing so stops all health data access immediately. Workouts already saved remain in your health app under your control and can be deleted there.

Phone-to-watch sync

Match state moves between your phone and your watch over the direct Bluetooth/Wi-Fi link that Apple's Watch Connectivity or Google's Wearable Data Layer provides. That link is operated by your devices' operating systems, not by us. No match data passes through any DillCourt server; we do not have one.

What we collect on our servers

Nothing. The app has no backend, no account system, no analytics or crash-reporting SDKs, and no advertising. Other than the store purchase described below, it makes no network requests during use.

Face ID / fingerprint app lock

The optional app lock uses your phone's built-in biometric system (Face ID on iOS, fingerprint on Android). Biometric data is handled entirely by your device's operating system. The app never sees, stores, or transmits your face or fingerprint data; it only receives a yes/no answer from the system when you unlock.

Voice announcements

Score calls are spoken using your phone's or watch's on-device text-to-speech. No audio is recorded and the app has no microphone access.

Notifications

The app may show local notifications on your phone (for example, that a match is live on your watch, or a reminder to finish an unlock you started from the watch). These are generated on the device itself. No push-notification service or server is involved.

Purchases

DillCourt Score is free to try. After the free matches, continuing to start new matches requires a one-time unlock bought through the Apple App Store or Google Play (including Google Play on a Wear OS watch). Your purchase is processed entirely by Apple or Google under their own privacy policies. The app only receives confirmation that the unlock was bought and stores that confirmation on your device. We receive no personal information about you from the transaction. People who bought the app when it was a paid download keep everything unlocked; that status is read from the store's own record of your original purchase, on your device.

Children

The app is suitable for all ages and, because it collects no data at all, no personal information is collected from anyone, including children.

Deleting your data

All app data lives on your devices. Deleting the app from your phone and watch deletes everything the app stored. Workouts saved to Apple Health or Health Connect are yours and can be removed in those apps.

Changes to this policy

If a future version of the app changes how data is handled, this policy will be updated and the change will be noted in the app's release notes before it takes effect.
